Great News for the Centre!

November 6, 2008 – The Early Learning Centre's capital campaign got a real boost this week when Mr. Alan Loney, President and CEO of Great West Life, London Life and Canada Life flew into Regina to announce his companies' contribution of $100,000 to the campaign. "The province of Saskatchewan is experiencing strong growth," said Mr. Loney. "Through our support of organizations like the Regina Early Learning Centre... we can help ensure that the benefits of a strong economy result in greater opportunities and a more vibrant community."

The gift is the companies' most recent community investment in Regina and recognizes the importance of early childhood education in developing a well-educated, strong community.

The gift pushed the capital campaign over the $1.2 million mark. With support like this we are getting closer to meeting the ELC's fundraising goal of $1.5 million.
